Below is a suggested timetable that you may like to follow with your child.  Please remember that this is a suggestion only.  The coloured sections of the timetable denote the learning that we would like to be submitted.

We have found this wonderful resource, which has been produced by the Department of Education.  It includes online lessons for every year group for Maths, English, Foundation subjects and PE.  Click here to access lessons for Y5.

BBC Bitesize is providing a range of education material including videos, practical tasks, activities and quizzes to support families with online learning at home.

 

 

 

 

Newsround is news for children that is carefully selected according to the target age (6-12 year olds) and the interests of the viewers. It brings children up to date with news from around the worl in a child friendly way.

 

 

Oxford Owl provides a bank of online books that your child can read at home to you or that you can enjoy reading together.

 

 

 

 

Mathletics – A great resource to allow children to work independently or cooperatively to complete activities from all units from their year group’s curriculum. Your child should have an existing login for this in their reading record. Please contact your class teacher should you need support with this. Mathletics is now available as an app for most devices.

 

 

 

Spelling Shed – Another resource that children should already be familiar with as it has been used in school this year. Your child should have an existing login for this in their reading record.   Change 4 Life – Change for life have teamed up with Disney to offer a range of ‘shake up’ games to keep children active and entertained

 

 

 

  P.E with Joe – A live daily P.E lesson designed to be completed within your home led by Joe Wicks, The Body Coach, that aims to keep         children (and parents) active and feeling energised. Lessons are live at 9:00am for a duration of 30 minutes.

 

 

 

 

Scratch - with Scrtch, you can program your own interactive stories, games and animations.

 

 

 

BBC Dance Mat - There are four levels to play, each divided into three stages. You start by learning the home row keys. Each stage builds on previous lessons, introducing new letters as you progress. You’ll soon be touch typing like an expert! At the end of each level you can test your typing speed and get a fun reward.

 

 

 

 

The National History Museum in London is providing a number of activities and tours that can be accessed by you and your children at home to learn more amazing facts about history. 

 

 

 

National Geographic for Kids provides lots of intereting facts, activities and games that may be of interest to your child to learn more about our World. 

 

 

 

 

Nasa Kids is a wonderful website provides a range og games, activities and interesting facts to help your child learn about space. 

 

 

 

 

 

Duckster is a website that has a bank of History, Geography and Science activities. There are some fun and exciting games for the children to engage in.
